May be a bad question, but does that mean there are 23 teams? If this is a 12 team league, I would hold the early 1st+. I'm probably in the minority, but you can't rely on Cook because of health. Injuries can happen to any player, but every time I needed Cook in the past for a contending team in the playoffs, he was hurt...

I love Dalvin Cook, so this is a hard situation. I'm undecided, but the value feels close. I play superflex exclusively these days, but my memory of standard dynasty is that there is usually a drastic value drop off somewhere in the first four picks. I'd have imagined that would have been at 1.03 in 2020, and we don't know where that will be for 2021 and which side your pick ends up on.

I've also loved what I've seen from Aiyuk as a prospect this year. I think I'd want something else on the Cook side to make this deal, with an equivalent value of a mid second round pick.

Where are you currently record wise and points for compared to the rest of your league? This would be a win now move, so if this doesn't make you a sure fire contender then I would hold what you have.

no way do I pass on Cook here. value alone, he's worth lots more than a 1st and Aiyuk.

Even accounting for an early 1st (which is dicey to predict mid-season), the value is way on the Cook side.

DLF trade calculator shows:

Cook = 837

Aiyuk + 1st = 490 (and that's adjusting draft pick value up 20%!)

Cook side for a contender for sure. Good value as Cook's value is climbing near CMC territory.

Cook is going to be a top 5 startup pick next year. The rookie will probably be an early 3rd round pick.

Aiyuk is nice enough, but next offseason if you offered an early 3rd round startup pick and one from wherever you'd get Aiyuk for 1.04 or something it would be rejected super fast.

And that's before we even consider that you of course get the #1 or #2 RB the rest of this year while the pick can't help you.

Cook has looked unreal, if I am a competitor who believes he can stay healthy I'd take it, but I don't trust Cook so I would have kept the pick or targeted another RB.
