Fulgham+late 2021 3rd (21-24 overall) vs 2022 2nd (likely 9-13) overall?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Fulgham+late 2021 3rd (21-24 overall) vs 2022 2nd (likely 9-13) overall?

Team 1 in Sig

I am 3-4 but thanks to a an awful division and a system that guarantees the top 2 seeds to division champs I am currently the 2 seed! (ahead of a 5-2 and 4-3 team)--but I am tied atop the division with two other 3-4 teams

Got this offer from one of the true contenders to give Fulgham and a 2021 3rd (his pick-21 to 24 overall) for what should me an early to mid 2022 2nd from a rebulding team (that is tied with me at 3-4 thanks to the awfullness of our division)

But even then--at worst that pick is a mid one (12-13) and at best it's 9 or 10--even over a year from now

Thoughts on Fulgham's value to me as someone trying to win but playing with house money and not really a contender? (and with a stockpile of picks)

I value Fulgham as a late 2nd currently, but I would rather hold and see how he develops vs move him for a 2nd multiple years out.

The pick I'd be getting is a high 2 (possibly mid--8 team league though so different values)

It will probably be 9-11 overall in 2022 and at worst 13

I am however giving a late 3rd (21-24 overall) in 2021 with Fulgham

Without giving the 3rd, it might be a consideration, but the 3rd you’re giving is close in value to the 2nd you’re getting. I’d pass.
