Postby burntfire » Mon Oct 26, 2020 12:26 pm

Was just offered the following:

Get: Reagor/Cole Kmet

Give: Bell

Am I overthinking this one? Just haven't really watched Reagor.

QB: Davis Mills, Kenny Pickett, Sam Darnold, Matt Corral
WR: Chris Godwin, A.J Brown, D.K. Metcalf, Jerry Jeudy, Jalen Reagor, Allen Lazard, K.J. Osborn, Skyy Moore, Tutu Atwell, Greg Dortch
RB: Josh Jacobs, Khalil Herbert, Tyson Chandler, Ronald Jones, K Gainwell
TE: Robert Tonyan, David Njoku, Jonnu Smith, Gerald Everett, Jelani Woods
2023: 1.05, 1.08
2024: 1

I don't think Bell will amount to much/anything the next couple years before he is completely worthless as an asset, so I would take this deal if you are not contending for future hope. You could hold and hope Bell has a couple good games in KC and you can flip for more, but that is a huge gamble.

Reagor very easily. Unless Bell starts aging like Benjamin Button, he isn't going to be a fantasy starter. I'd roll the dice for Reagor.
Team 1: 12 team, PPR
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex

Mahomes, Lawrence
Najee, Swift, Javonte, Jamaal W, Murray
DK, DJM, Juju, Jameson, Gallup, Van
Pitts, Friermuth
1.01, 1.04, 1.11, 1.12, 3.10, 2 firsts next year

Team 2: 12 Team, SF TEP (1.5 PPR)
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex, 1 SF

Mahomes, Burrow, Cousins, Rudolph
CEH, Swift, Gibson, Jacobs, Mattison, Scott, McFarland
DK, AJB, Ridley, McLaurin, Kupp, Landry, Mims, Hamler, Miller, Johnson, Robinson
Andrews, H. Henry, Sternberger, Alie-Cox, Herndon

Same as Team 2
Watson, Burrow, Lance, Z. Wilson
Pollard, Mattison
Chase, D. Smith, Boyd, Hardman, E. Moore, Cephus, A. Rodgers, Harry, Boykin, A. Tate, Miller
Hockenson, Thomas, Albert O, Njoku
3 additional firsts

Same as Team 2
TLaw, Burrow, Watson, Darnold
CEH, Gus, Cohen
Juju, Chark, Shenault, Boyd, Landry, Renfrow, Robinson,
Engram, Kmet, Firkser, Schultz, Arnold, Herndon

I am on the other side. He looked like his old self this weekend. Give him 2-3 weeks and he's going to be a very startable asset and his value will rise. I think Bell is going to take serious catchs away from CEH who has a couple bad drops every week. I think you'll be able to get far more in a couple of weeks

This was along my thinking. I had a deal in place and actually agreed upon for Brees/Kupp but he backed out. I thought about making a stink but meh.

If he can average 4+ YPC then his value should go way up.

On the other hand I know Reagor is a great asset just haven't seen how he actually plays.

I feel like this is what bells value could rise to if he plays well. Raegor should still be worth a late 1. Or are people thinking 28 YO bell is gonna be worth an early mid first?

I don't think it's so much this as potential of trading to a team competing who would overpay a bit.

I'd take Reagor. Bell's value could go either way. Maybe he bursts into a borderline RB1 but there is also the possibility that the mystery surrounding his situation peaked his value and that he will be a known nothing in 3 weeks. Reagor is a good return for that kind of risk.

Guy that originally offered Kupp/Brees for Bell is back. I'm assuming the consensus is to take this over Reagor?
