Making a move for young RB for my Future

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Making a move for young RB for my Future

Postby zoster80 » Mon Oct 26, 2020 7:55 am

This is for Zo nasty...

So the RB Hoarder of the league is 2-5 is ready to move a few... he wants 1st rounders and young RBs.

He owns M Sanders, Carson, Singletary, Ekler, Swift + others

He’s doesn’t want to negotiate. Just wants offers sent through the site. I sent a text and asked if my 2021 1st + Zack Moss was enough for a guy like Sanders, Ekler or Swift and he said it’s in the ballpark.

This got me excited. Because I was planning to get some youth at RB in next years draft.

If I can get any of the 3 is that a steal? Or should I stay away from Ekler or Swift with their backfield situations.

The other way I can go is try to keep Moss and shoot for Singletary and lock down the Buffalo backfield.

What do you think?

I would try to add Swift for the price before he keeps ticking up both short and long term.

How about Sanders? If he’s that cheap? I may just send out both offers

I'd pay that for either Sanders or Swift. I don't think Moss becomes anything special unless an injury makes him the workhorse.

I'd want Sanders or Swift here, Ekeler if he is cheaper with being injured. I can see Swift slowly taking control of the Detroit backfield as the season progresses. Sanders should be back soon, and hopefully for Philly the offense will get healthy and he will produce. I would see what he wants on top of the 1st and Moss to land Swift if the deal is close, perhaps one of your back up te's?

I'd also go after Sanders or Swift, probably have to prioritize Swift as a contender with limited RB depth - but I like both about the same long-term, so I would be happy with either.

Ekeler>Sanders>Swift and I'd buy low on Sanders/Ekeler before paying through the nose for Swift. I love all 3 however.
Herbert is competing for OROY and the rest of the backfield looks like the spare parts they are. Ekeler is under contract for another 3 1/2 years and I think there's a chance he returns to last year's 1500/11 when he heals. I value him as a legitimate star but his price isn't that high.

I wouldn't trade anything significant for Singletary. I could see Buffalo drafting an RB in the 2nd or signing one that is far better than both these guys.

Sanders and swift are both great deals at that price. I'd maybe even find a way to buy both if they are that cheap.
