What to do with Mike Evans? Does he still have *ANY* value?

I can’t believe here we are. When Brady went to Bucs I got scared.. but I held on... of course he’s been terrible all year, but now AB just signed with the Bucs 🤦🏻‍♂️

The best case is obviously a real-life trade, but I have no control over that, so hoping another owner will buy him on name value... but what’s he worth?!

I too find it ridiculous. I now have 3 top WRs dealing with issues in Thomas, OBJ, and now Evans with the unnecessary Brown signing.

I’d still hold onto him with the hopes Brown flames out yet again. Never a good idea to trade a top asset when their value is down.

Evans is WR19 in PPR leagues while battling through injury. I don’t get the concern.

I'm more concerned that the signing is due to Evan's injury and concerns it will be worse. Evans is a hold for me now, it's just not worth selling at his current perceived value.

Does it suck? Yes, and I wish I got out of both my Evans and Godwin shares over the off season, but it is what it is now. On the plus side AB hasn't played football in over a year and he can still screw up

I’m not changing my opinion on any Bucs until AB plays an actual game. He’s had pretty bizarre behavior the last couple of years, so I’m holding for now until we see what happens.

As a Steelers homer, I honestly find it so sad. I would never welcome him back (I would Bell) because of how terrible he treated his teammates and organization, but I wish he would get healthy.

I honestly think that the hit Burfict put on him that knocked him out for 10 minutes gave him instant CTE and ruined his life.

Evans is a stud and still worth multiple 1sts in my opinion. Even if he struggles and has a down year, it's only one year. Its dynasty. Cant always look at one more or half a season with cloudy vision.

The Brown signing is annoying and ridiculous, but who knows how it plays out.

The concern is he's a couple of 1 yard TDs away from being JuJu right now and he's failed to eclipse 10 yards receiving in half of his games despite most of his competition for targets missing much of the year.

AB in Florida? What could possibly go wrong?

I'm not sure you can do much other than hold Evans. His perceived value was lower than it should be coming into the season and it's only gotten lower. Given the talent I don't think you will get anything near his actual value. His biggest problem is Brady can't throw it deep the way Winston could and that's where Evans excels. A lot will change over the next 2 seasons and I'd bet he returns to form at that point if not before.

He has one bad week after 4 straight good games and he’s been terrible all year?

AB is a knuckle head and its only a matter of time. It's also yet to be seen how he will fit in this offense. Be patient. Evans is on a hall of fame track.

He had two games with 2 yards receiving before this "one bad week". 2 yards!

Except Evans has eclipsed 1000 receiving yards six straight seasons, and every year he's been in the league lol. Evans is still ridiculously talented, he's just been banged up this year, and frankly has been misused. The three times Evans has been targeted a respectable amount of times for someone of his talent, he has had:

7 receptions for 104 yards and 1 TD (10 targets) - 23.4 PPR points
7 receptions for 122 yards and 1 TD (9 targets) - 25.2 PPR points
5 receptions for 41 yards and 1 TD (9 targets) - 15.1 PPR points

In the other 3 games, Evans has a COMBINED 10 targets, of which he caught 4 passes, three being for TDs.

Those "other 3 games" happen to be the 3 games that Godwin played in this year.

So given what you said above, how do you expect Evans' targets to look the rest of the year with Godwin AND Brown in the lineup now?
