Trying to acquire Derrick Henry (Lamb)

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trying to acquire Derrick Henry (Lamb)

Postby hiteck22 » Thu Oct 22, 2020 5:05 pm

Team in sig, Henry owner is shopping him everywhere. He offered me Henry and Keenan for Dobbins and Metcalf I shut it down. I have WR depth to deal and really need an RB. I value Godwin, Ridley, Metcalf and Lamb over Henry. But he would deal Henry straight up for lamb. Considering my build........ Ugh hate trading a 21 year old WR for whatever is left of Henry's career.

Value is on the Henry side straight up, but it is really tough moving Lamb.

Agreed, it is tough. I just spent an entire offseason devising a way to get into draft position to take him

I am going to hold off for now I guess and see what materializes on the trade market over the next week!

I would keep Lamb with that build. Dobbins is top 5 in YPT and it's only a matter of time with Ingram already getting hurt.

Is it? Pure guess here but If we started a dynasty league today Id bet lamb goes before henry.

It depends on if the person is looking to the future or building a "win now" team... RB > WR typically but longevity and potential are on Lamb's side.

If I was you I’d be trading Ridley, he seems to have trouble getting it done when Julio isn’t around. Just my 2 pennies

Ended up trading Lamb and my 2nd for Henry and his 3rd. I'm 7-0 and he is 2-5 so those picks likely wont be separated by too much.

I like it for a 7-0 team. Long term I like Lamb, but if you are going for it this is a great way to get it done! Good luck!
12 Team Dynasty, (SF) (2pt/c TE Prem)
QB - Wentz, Heinicke, Big Ben, Fitz, Tyrod, Rudolph
RB - Henry, Kamara, CMC, R. Jones, D. Felton, P. Lindsay
WR - Ridley, Pittman, Cooks, M. Williams, MT, AJG, R. Higgins, Perriman, Shi Smith, MVS
TE - Gesicki, Engram, Uzomah, Hurst, Manhertz, Farrell

2022: 1,2,3,4

Sure but Henry is behind quite a few RBs in Dynasty value and lamb is being viewed as a top 5 wr from what I’ve been seeing/hearing. Against just a hunch but I think lamb would be going ahead and in the offseason startups im pretty confident he will be ahead of Henry in adp

I can see your point, I would still think with an early run on RBs Henry could go first... but I guess it is more likely that Lamb comes off the board before him.
