Claypool owner wants DJM

Team #1 in my sig, contending. The Claypool owner is trying hard to sell high, & came to me to ask what it'd need to get him from Claypool to DJM. He didn't make any concrete offers.

I value DJM very highly in dynasty and I am not sold on Claypool just yet. What is the difference between these two in a 12-team, PPR format?

FWIW, his best assets are: Deebo, Kenny G, Gibson, Gaskin, Jeudy, Swift

I'd make the move if I got a nice piece added on top. I think a starting point for me would be Kenny G + Claypool, but what would be reasonable to add to DJM in this case to get this done?

Golladay or an early 1st on top would be a great rerun, otherwise outside of this type of add to Claypool, I would hold too.

I think Golladay / early 1st on top of Claypool is a bit ambitious at this point. Deebo or Gibson are more reasonable options I think. Also if you're not sold on Claypool I'm not sure how much sense a deal for him makes....like if you don't value him as at least a mid-first I'd probably just not do this deal.

Thanks for the quick replies. I think he probably isn't going to like what I'd want for DJM, or what I'd give for Claypool, so I'll probably hold here.

Owner is trying to sell high on Claypool and buy low on DJ Moore. I doubt he is willing to throw in more than a second. My guess is a deal doesn't get done because if I was selling DJ Moore, Claypool couldn't be the main piece I got back.

Agreed, and the reason I'd be willing to do an early 1st on top has more to do with DJM's play this year than claypools

I’d try for Claypool+Jeudy but would expect to have to add a smaller piece to DJM.
