This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

AB......to where??

Postby dblj1199 » Thu Oct 22, 2020 6:51 am

The big news is he is close to returning and Seattle has been mentioned as a landing spot for him. If he does land there does that help / hurt DK's status, I think Lockett would be affected the most. Any other "dream" destinations for him? I know that he worked out with LJax in the off season, his cousin is there and Balt knows what he can do. I'd say KC, lol, make them a super team scoring 75 pts a game. Also do I hold him or look to sell asap??

I dont think it matters where he lands. He will be a distraction and will never be the same player. Sell immediately on hype. His last comeback went so well.

I agree, Lockett and AB kinda have a similar playstyle where DK only needs 3-4 big catches to put up good numers.

This right here is it. He won't come back to his old self. Whatever you can sell him for, take it. He is still a 32 year old WR that hasn't played in almost 2 years. If you can cash in on that hype, I would.

Definitely on this side. This is like trying to make money on things from a garage sell. Sometimes it’s better to just trash it or take a small offer.

If he does sign with Seattle should I target the Wilson owner and see if he want's to stack AB with him? Would Carson be too much to ask for in return?? He also has Akers and JT and Lockett.

If I had him I'd wait until the day he signed. His value will explode if he signs anywhere, but especially if he goes to somewhere like GB or SEA, and you can get some nice offers. I'd definitely sell, I don't see holding him to be worth the headache or volatility in his value.

Would Carson be too much?

So you want someone to trade away a RB1 for a 32 year old WR whos hasn't played for a couple years?? No contender is giving up Carson for him and no rebuilding team is going to trade for him. Id guess teams trying to trade him will be lucky to get a 3rd round pick.

This is a realistic take.

Trading is sort of thin in my league. Honestly couldn't imagine anyone paying a 2nd for him in my league, personally. Even that might be a stretch. Perhaps some WR desperate team might offer a 3rd. I'd have to be talked out of not jumping on something like that...

This is me, I grabbed him for free off waivers just for the hope for a free draft pick.
