Tua trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Tua trade

Postby vikesguy » Wed Oct 21, 2020 11:58 am

For team in sig, it is a superflex league. Rbs are pretty expensive too since you start 3. Id give my drew lock+jk dobbins for Tua+2021 1st. Right now that 1st is 6th overall. I've kinda soured on lock but maybe I haven't given him enough time.

And so the Tua trades begin!

So much unknown here... it's almost amore about what players you like rather than what you believe will happen.

Anyway, I know Lock looked like crap against the Pats but the Pats D does that a lot.

Three-headed RB monster in BAL, everybody's favorite RBBC! Can we get a 4th?!

I think it comes down to how much you believe in Tua. I don't think he's going to be elite, but that's just an early guess.

Oh and the pick is nice - might be able to get an RB back, depending.

Well coming into the 2019 college season Tua was the #1 pick and people were "tanking for Tua". He still played great, but had a freak injury. He's still going to be good. He has ok talent around him with his best wr being Parker, then a bunch of guys in Gaskin, Williams and Geisiki. I'm not expecting him to be elite this season, but by the end of year 2 I'm expecting Miami to continue to build up the o-line and add more weapons around him. I can see him being a top 12-18 qb then and continuing to grow. I do like him more than Lock and this is a pretty decent price for him.

I think I would hold for now. I still think Lock will make a jump and Dobbins is about to get his shot (more then likely). I think it will take time for Tua to settle in, so I think you can revaluate in a couple weeks.
