Kupp vs. Claypool?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Kupp vs. Claypool?

Postby yayazoo » Wed Oct 21, 2020 8:42 am

12 team half PPR league. How much would you give in addition to Claypool (in terms of picks) to get Kupp? Or would you just hold on to Claypool for now given Kupp’s performance this year? Thanks

I would hold Claypool and see how he develops.

I guess it depends on your roster and if you are competing. However, I think I would keep Claypool as he looks like the real deal.

Hold Claypool, he's an emerging star. Kupp is great but at 27 I don't see his dynasty value as much higher than Claypool's. If you want to go big and get a proven stud WR for Claypool+, go bigger than Kupp.

I own both and think its a bit of an overreaction... D Johnson will be back soon and he will be taking away targets from Claypool. Do we remember this time last year when we were talking about Kupp being a top 10 dynasty WR?

Not sure Johnson should scare you off Claypool. I think Claypool has shown more in the NFL than Diontae has.

Seriously what has Johnson done to get people on him like this? Claypool has shown way, way more than Johnson. And people have cooled on Kupp for a reason...remember in 2015 when Odell was the WR1? Things change.
