I would hold the Jacobs side for now if you are contending. I'm lowering on Beckham then most, but Dobbins is still an unknown at this point. I like the Dobbins side long term however in a full multiple year rebuild, but I think you could get a touch more or a pick added to that side. Jacobs is a big time and valuable asset.

one year from that trade will look great for you. if you can take the hit of jacobs for this season, i'd do it.

I think my issue with this is that it essentially assumes he can either do the deal or hold Jacobs and OBJ. I'd rather try to get more from this owner or just look to sell OBJ elsewhere. Also you're essentially assuming that Dobbins will hit, and while he's shown some promise his current price I think accurately reflects the risk that he won't.
