Probably a 2nd to a contender desperate for depth. I'm guessing he and Smith possibly rotate games at times this year and either way, Allen is a one year fill in.

I think Kyle Allen is one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the NFL. Unfortunately the Washington Redskins are very bad on offense, at pretty much every position group. I don't think he'll perform well enough to overcome this. Which will have them drafting early and selecting a new perspective franchise QB. It also will likely prevent him from earning a series look as a journeyman QB in free agency.
He's not really somebody I would trade for. But he is someone who I believe has value. If he can beat the odds, I'll be happy to have him on my roster. I'd be willing to scoop him up for a late round pick.
