Trading Davante Adams

I'm sitting at 5-0 in my league and have an offer on the table...

Give: Adams & Engram + 2021 early 2nd
Receive: DJ Moore + Waller + 2021 1st (currently 5th overall) + two 3rd rounders

He also has a second 1st rounder for next year that he seems unwilling to part with. I thought about taking the 2nd and 3rds off the board with the offer that stands. DJM isn't matchup proof at this point and Robby Anderson seems to be Teddy's guy so far. Adams is getting old and hurt quite a bit. Matchup proof when he's on the field, but it might be time to cash in. Also, I don't have a 1st round pick next season. I think James Robinson is a one year rental so I could use that pick for a RB early next draft.

Thoughts please. Thanks!

I'd keep adams but its pretty fair on paper. Maybe counter without the early second?

I would hold Adams as a contender.

Not close with your early 2nd on top of Adams. Hold.

As a DJM owner this is Adams, by quite a bit, I'd smash accept to get the Adams side as a contender, you can get a better return on Adams

Thanks for all the advice. I think I'm going to stay put unless I can get DJM + Waller + two 2021 1st (both top 10). I'll need an overpay.

Update:

Offer on the table...

Give: Adams, Engram
Receive: DJ Moore, Waller, two 2021 1sts (5th and 7th picks as of today)

Not sure what to do? Would be a lot easier of a decision if i wasn’t 5-0, but with having zero 1st rounders in next two seasons this is something to consider.

Very fair return on Adams and if rebuilding I might take that. But at 5-0 I probably don’t...unless you’re team is a very lucky 5-0 and not scoring as good as your record would indicate.

I guess I’d rather have a title and worry about the future later

I'd hold Adams if competing

I love Adams but two mid firsts in a 16 team league, DJM and a nice upgrade at TE for Adams is damn good value. I'd take that for a near 28 yo WR that has some injury problems easy
