Let's talk Bell & CEH trade values

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Let's talk Bell & CEH trade values

Postby Lesman » Fri Oct 16, 2020 7:15 am

Bell owner here who is either looking buy CEH or sell Bell to the CEH owner. Just looking to gauge where others see current values before I make some trade offers. You can see my sig for what I have to work with.

CEH
What current players or pick combo would move the needle for a CEH owner?

My preferred trading chips right now would be Cooper/Evans/OBJ, so I would like to start there, knowing I will need to add another piece (player or pick) to make it happen.

Bell

What prospects or picks would you realistically expect to get out of Bell? I am thinking a mid second tops.

I dont think Cooper/Evans/OBJ are going to majorly excite most CEH owners who picked up CEH naturally (ie by drafting him with their own pick in the top 2)...I think players like Godwin, DJM, and AJB are better starting points unless a contender happens to have CEH in your league.

Agree on Bell...I wouldnt pay more than a 2nd.

I completely agree with your first point. Obviously I would rather try to get some value out of those first 3 WRs before dealing AJB. The CEH owner is a contender with an aging team. He needs one more WR to solidify his roster in what could be one of his last shots at title. I was thinking Evans or Cooper + Gaskin + mid 2nd as the offer and see where that goes.

Well if he owns CEH, unless he traded for the pick, he "earned" the #1 overall and is rebuilding currently. So for him to deal away his #1 overall pick 5 weeks in he will want a BIG return. Selling him Bell may be a better option, but that all comes down to how his team is currently performing. If he is competing he may want to add him, but most likely won't give up much to add Bell. I'd ask for a 2nd or does he have any promising rookies sitting on his bench?

What do you think you could get from him for a package of one of those WRs and Bell? Instead of a 2nd, you may be able to get a prospect and a 1st or an upgrade at a position. 2 WRs and Bell could be an attractive offer for a starting RB, if he can spare it.

More trades are successful when you're asking after a position of strength of your partner's. Target an area in which he is rich and go after an upgrade.
