Trade for Robby Anderson?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade for Robby Anderson?

Postby Jcedwards » Fri Oct 16, 2020 6:50 am

Between injuries and poor performance, I’m hurting a little bit with depth. I would like to pursue Robby Anderson. Guy with him is pretty good at WR and hasn’t started him once this year, so I don’t know how high he is on him (before the season started he was trying to trade him). What would be a good starting offer?

His team:
QB- Cam, Brady, Dak
RB- Cook, Conner, Freeman, Gus, Hyde, Snell, Duke Johnson
WR- Hopkins, Evans, Kupp, AJ Green, Anderson, Samuel, Antonio Brown
TE- Kelce, Kittle, Gronk

He just lost Dak, so I did think of seeing about trying to trade him one of Carr or Minshew (don’t how he feels about rolling with his current 2). He also needs RB help, but I’m not real sure if I want to trade any of my top guys. Is there a trade that may make sense? He only has a 2nd next year and I do have 3.

Long term, I'm pretty cautious on Anderson, so I'm not seeing much to get a deal done. I think Akers is a gamble long term whether he develops or Anderson tappers off, so I would hold there and none of your other players are worth moving for him. If you dont like Akers, he is the only possible piece I would even consider moving, but again I'm not buying Anderson at his current price.

Appreciate the input Gator. I’m still high on Akers, so I’m not willing to trade him (at least not for Anderson). Let me ask you this, who’s a good buy low candidate at WR? Due to injuries and bye weeks, I’m having to start Tim Patrick this week.

I would look at injured wr's that owners are getting frustrated with. Seems to be lots of J. Jones posts anymore. Not saying he would be cheap, but worth a price check text.

Just my gauge of the community, but here are some top WRs where I see owners getting frustrated
JuJu, Julio, DJM, Chark, OBJ (though he has rebounded a bit)

Some cheaper guys:

QB: Burrow - Lamar - Kyler
RB: Ekeler - Saquon - Gainwell
WR: Amon Ra - Hopkins - Godwin - K.Allen- QJ - Hollywood - Diontae - Shaheed- Wandale - Woods
TE: Kelce - Engram - Ferg - Chig
DL: Hunter | LB: Okereke | DB: Bynum
'24 Picks: Late 1st, Early 2nd, Late 2nd

Team #2: 12-Team - PPR - *SF* - 6pt Pass - TE Prem
25 Roster + 5 Taxi | QB, RB, 2-WR, TE, SFLX, 3-FLX
Team #2 (0-0)
QB: Murray - Allen - Winston
RB: Cook - Saquon - Mattison - Hull

Appreciate the input. A lot of guys in my league are super high on some of these WRs, so it will be hard to get any of those listed, without a massive overpay.

I may inquire on some of those just to see.

I think a second for Anderson is fair. But might take a little more since he has been pretty good. Maybe Minshew and second gets it done
