Diontae for Edmonds

I was just offered Diontae Johnson for Chase Edmonds straight up. Non-ppr. What am I missing here? Is this just recency bias with claypool blowing up and Johnson being hurt, coupled with drake struggling and Edmonds performing well? This is still dynasty, right? Long term, Johnson is the much better piece, right? My team is WR heavy, but still, gotta accept this, even if Johnson would be my WR5, right? Seems like an easy accept, but wanted to get peoples thoughts. Thanks.

Yes easy accept. I think Edmonds forces his way into some more work but I’m not sold on either Drake or Edmonds as unique talents. I don’t think either emerges as more than an RB2 and they will cannibalize each others upside.

Great price to lock up Johnson long term. I like Edmonds, but he will never be the guy on any team.

I traded Edmonds for a 2 and was pleased with that. I’d have jumped for joy to get Diontae.

Diontae Johnson looks to be the real deal when he is on the field and healthy. I would love to grab him for that price!
