Lindsay for JJ this year?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Lindsay for JJ this year?

Postby jman3134 » Wed Oct 14, 2020 8:22 pm

How would you value Lindsay for Justin Jefferson this year? Jefferson looks great long term, but he is only getting 5 targets a week, whereas Lindsay might start with Gordon out. I am contending.

I would easily hold Jefferson over Lindsay. A 1st would be a must add to the Lindsay side, but I would hold. Even as a contender, I'm not sure Lindsay will be the most reliable either.

What about for this year only? Looking to contend now. Remove all long term dynasty implications, which is hard. Let's pretend it is redraft because my only concern is winning now.

Not a great way to go since its dynasty ha ha, but in a hypthtical redraft, I could see Lindsay. Is there any indication on a punishment for Gordon yet?

I’d go Jefferson short term too. Lindsay is a solid RB but there’s no guarantee that Gordon will be out, maybe 3 games and that might not happen until late November. There’s no way I’m trading Jefferson for him.

Even if you want to trade Jefferson for someone, I would pick a different target than Lindsay...there are a lot more options out there that offer you garunteed immediate production.

That being said, I like Lindsay, but Jefferson has been elite the past few weeks...and i don't know if trading him for Lindsay is capitalizing on his value right now.

I'm going JJ here short and long term. Lindsay isn't guaranteed to be starting if / when Gordon goes out. Don't panic here.
