Enough for Ruggs?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Enough for Ruggs?

Postby imi814 » Wed Oct 14, 2020 5:24 pm

For team 2 I am loaded at wr. I have Ruggs on my taxi and I doubt I would ever start him this year. The team that has eckler just put his two ‘21 #1s on the block as he seems to want to make a run. He is weak at wr and can use another back as he really has nothing for bye weeks.

What do you all think of this?
Ruggs and Justin jackson
For a mid #1 and late #1
10 team start 2QB salary cap .5 PPR 2QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1 Flex(WR/RB/TE)

QB: Stroud, Lamar Geno, Dobbs, Young
RB: CMC eitiene, Hall, Jevante Williams, Perine
WR: Jefferson, Waddle, Pittman, Olave, d Smith, N brown
TE: Goedart, Chig

2025 5ones

Team 2: 12 team salary cap PPR 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1 Flex(WR/RB/TE)

I would hold, but I'm interested to see what Ruggs becomes. I cant argue with the value overall though.

I think I would take that for Ruggs and Jackson. Jacksons value is just about at its peak right now and Ruggs has looked good, but I'm sure in the long run you'll be just as happy with Chase or Bateman.

You're pretty stacked. If anyone could get away with selling those two, it would be that team... Seems fair to me.
Team One:
2QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, 2 FLEX, PK, DEF 10 Team
QB: J. Garoppolo, R. Tannehill, R. Wilson, T. Tagavaiola
RB: S. Barkley, T. Charbonnet, A. Ekeler, K. Gainwell, D. Henry, A. Kamara, J. Kelley, D. Montgomery, S. Perine
WR: G. Davis, I. Hodgins, D. Hopkins, C. Kupp, K. Raymond, A. St Brown, A. Thielen, N. Westbrook-Ikhine
TE: M. Andrews, G. Everett, D. Knox, D. Schultz, D. Waller
TAXI:T. Chandler, E. Dotson, J. McLaughlin, D. Ridder

Team Two:
0-2QB, 8-10 FLEX 12 Team
QB: J. Fields, W. Levis, M. Stafford, T. Taylor
RB: T. Allgeier, S. Barkley, T. Bigsby, T. Etienne, Z. Evans, R. Mostert, I. Pacheco, M. Sanders
WR: B. Cooks, G. Davis, V. Jefferson, T. McLaurin, J. Meyers, D.J. Moore, D. Parker, B. Powell, J. Reynolds, L. Shenault, N. Westbrook-Ikhine
TE: J. Smith, D. Waller

It seems like that team is going to be looking to buy an RB if he's trying to replace Ekeler though. And I wouldn't think a team trying to make a run is going to think buying Ruggs is going to help with that either. Based on the specific scenario you've mentioned, the offer doesn't seem to make sense to me.
