Ridley/Kelce Deal

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which side would you rather have?

Ridley/Kelce Deal

Postby Markdavis3033 » Wed Oct 14, 2020 4:53 pm

I was just offered a trade in my 12 team PPR dynasty league.

I would trade:
Calvin Ridley, Travis Kelce, Travis Fulgham

In exchange for:
Amari Cooper, Darren Waller, James Robinson

Should I take the trade or pass?

Here’s my roster (start 10):

QB (start 2):
Matt Ryan
Tom Brady
Ryan Tannehill

RB (start 2-5):
Austin Ekeler
David Johnson
Kenyan Drake
Justin Jackson
Darrel Williams
JD Mckissic

WR (start 3-5):
Ridley
Allen Robinson
Will Fuller
Cole Beasley
Jarvis Landry
Fulgham
Anthony Miller
Nelson Agholor

TE (start 1-2):
Kelce
Robert Tonyan
Gronk
Mo Allie Cox

I would hold, but it's very close and obviously the third piece is way better on the Robinson side.

My initial thought was u should hold. But looking at your roster you would start Robinson every week. Since he came to you I would try to get him to add a second.
10 team start 2QB salary cap .5 PPR 2QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1 Flex(WR/RB/TE)

QB: Stroud, Lamar Geno, Dobbs, Young
RB: CMC eitiene, Hall, Jevante Williams, Perine
WR: Jefferson, Waddle, Pittman, Olave, d Smith, N brown
TE: Goedart, Chig

2024 3ones
2025 5ones

Team 2: 12 team salary cap PPR 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1 Flex(WR/RB/TE)

QB: Burrow, Lawrence, Richardson, Young
RB: Bijan, Gibbs, Taylor, Swift, sanders, Roshon
WR: Chase, Lamb, waddle, Olave, Watson, Ridley
TE: Pitts, Johnson, Mayer

2024 5 ones 3 twos

See that’s a huge reason why I’m considering it. I’m thin at RB as it is. Best pick this owner has available is a 4th. Ridley

You're sort of thin everywhere. That said, I'd hold or shop for a better package from another owner.
  • ATL will be playing from behind often, good news for Ridley.
  • DAL is up in the air with Dalton at the helm. Long term, not sure if Amari sticks around much longer. If he does, he still loses receptions to Lamb and Gallup.
  • Kelce is aging but who can tell!?
  • Waller is pretty good, sometimes. Not Kelce
  • Fulgham is a ?
  • James Robinson is looking really good...
Any chance that you can trade something smaller fof Robinson? Maybe Fulgham + a 2nd?

Most he’s willing to add is a 3rd. His draft capital is low too

I mean the poll is 9-0. I doubt a 3rd would have changed that.
