Miles Sanders

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Miles Sanders

Postby JoshuaGordon_9 » Thu Oct 08, 2020 4:49 pm

Team 1 in signature.

Another team has interest in Sanders. Feel like this is a bad time to sell him, but other owner has been asking all year. Plus is an Eagles fan, but has tempered expectations (won't go above and beyond to buy him)

Herbert, Wentz, Ryan
Gibson, DJ, Gordon, Cohen
Hill, Adams, ARob, Mclaurin, Davis, Ward, AJG
Goedert, Eifert, Hock
1,2,3

We've talked about ARob before, but nothing really stuck. Last offer from him was ARob, AJG for Sanders and Moss. No thanks.

It is SF, so I could maybe pursue Herbert? Or Gibson plus?
Team 1: 12T PPR SF no premiums, 4pt TDs
QB(1-2) Herbert, Tua
WR(3-5) AJB, Adams, Sutton, Boyd, Bourne, Wicks
RB(2-4) JT, Kyren, Swift, Singletary, Moss, Ford Dobbins, Tucker
TE(1-3) Hock, Jonnu, Kmet, Kraft
3.06, 3.09

Team 2: 12T PPR, TE premium, SF
QB(1-2) Cousins, Love, Tanny, Trask, McCoy, Zappe
WR(2-6) Lamb, Olave, Hollywood, Godwin, JaMo, Sutton, Diontae, Lazard, McKensie
RB(2-6) ETN, A. Jones, Dillon, Hunt, Moss, K. Miller, S. Tucker
TE(1-5) Hock, Brock Wright, Everett

Team 3: 12T PPR SF TE Prem
QB(1-2) Fields, Young, Darnold, Trask, Dalton
WR(1-6) AJB, Pittman, Hollywood, Sutton, M. Williams, Davis, Meyers, Van Jefferson, Sheperd, McKensie
RB(1-6) Jacobs, Sanders, Akers, Hunt, T. Spears, C. Brown
TE(1-6) Schultz, Hurts, Conklin

I would hold and let him get going. Herbert is a good asset in SF, but I think you would have to add. Like you mentioned, not a great time to move Sanders.

Herbert's a still somewhat low-key target in SF if you really need a QB and like him. I always thought Sanders was a bit overrated, and this year doesn't look great for PHI in general. Maybe even longer if Wentz keeps imploding.
35 Team Dyn PPR, 3 x Copy SF start 2TE Super Prem (TE 2 PPR, 8pt TD), 6 pt/non-TE TD, 1pt/20 yds pass (300 +3pt), 1pt/10 yds rush/rec (100 +3pt)

Start 12: 1QB 1SFLX 2RB 4WR 2TE 2FLX | 30 Active Roster, unlim Taxi, 3 IR/Out (+) | est. '21 | playoffs '21, '22

QB - J Allen, T Lawrence ...
RB - A Ekeler, S Barkley, J Cook, I Pacheco ...
WR - AJ Brown, C Ridley, G Pickens, C Sutton ...
TE - D Njoku, D Knox ...

As a Sanders buyer, I am finding it difficult to gage a price. The owner is looking for a WR, asking for Adams and Higgins. Too rich for my blood.
10 Team - NON PPR (5 Round Rookie Draft) - Start 2QB, 2RB, 4WR, 1TE, 1FLEX, 4DB, 4LB/DL/DB

Burrow/Howell (Murray, Geno)
Taylor/Swift (Sanders, Conner, Gibson, Miller, Spears Lenny)
Adams/Godwin/Higgins/McLaurin (DJ Moore, Hopkins, Tillman)
Kelce (Hockenson)
Budda/Holland/Blackmon/Minkah (Sydney Brown)
Bosa/Bernard/Okereke/EJones (Elliss)

Yeah, that's outrageous. Higgins and something reasonable like a 2nd, but sure as hell not Adams on top of it. Go pound sand!

Some prices you just have to walk away from. Just like some GMs you know you can't trade with pretty much ever for all sorts of good and bad reasons. It sucks, but it's the way it is.

There's one guy in my league, I pretty much say "welp, I'll never be getting that guy on my roster" as soon as he drafts anybody I like. Been like that since '07!

If you like the idea of Herbert, try an offer of Sanders and Cousins (or Teddy) for Herbert and ARob (or someone in that general area). Most SF owners are a little more likely to give up a QB when one is coming back to them.
