2QB issues

So team 1 in my sig, I was hoping Tyrod would at least make it to week 8 as the starter but now that looks highly unlikely. So as it stands now I have no QBs to start week 8 (Lamar and Kyler both on bye). I didn't want to throw a ton of faab at Driskel or Mullins because there's no guarantee they'll still be the starters week 8. At what point do you start worrying about this/making moves to get 2 warm bodies to put in week 8? FWIW, the league is 2 divisions and the 2 division winners make the playoffs and then the next 2 teams with the highest total points, so if I don't end up winning the division having a week with no starting QBs could be a killer.

Take the loss for that week if you can't get cheap QBs.

I wouldn't do anything, I actually prefer all my players to have similar bye weeks, then my lineup is at full strength more often. Just set the best lineup you can, maybe you get lucky, if not oh well take the L and move on.

Agreed, dont make moves which jeopardize your roster in order to win one week, put up best lineup, hope to get lucky and move on to week 9.

Roll the best lineup you can and move forward either way. No need to make a move in my opinion.

It sucks, but chalk up a lose and it's simply bad luck to have your top two qb's on the same bye week. With it being a 2qb league there is very little chance of you landing 2 starting qb's between no and then without completely ripping your team apart. Take the L and go from there. I'd hope that Winston lands a starting job somewhere next year for a bye week fill in or Eason becomes the starter in Indy.

Your focus, IMO, should not be on finding a QB for Week 9. It's a temporary solution, one that you'll likely overpay for anyway. Instead, I'd focus on finding a 3rd QB. That's a long-term solution that also covers Week 9.

Agree with above, I wouldn't overpay for a one week need. also agree with trying to get that 3rd starting qb which won't be cheap either. Does the Herbert owner have an idle qb you could work a deal for involving you sending Tyrod?

Unfortunately not, compounded by the fact that he's the worst team in the league and wants the 1.01 next year, so if herbert goes down he'll be forcecd to only start 1 qb (his other QBs are Minshew and and Tua)

If he wants the 1.01, maybe he'd be willing to move Minshew? May be able to get him cheaper and would be a decent 3rd qb this year
