Barkley Trade Offer (Poll)

Postby Weavere » Mon Sep 21, 2020 7:34 am

Was offered Michael Thomas straight for Barkley. I am in win now mode and was thinking of moving Barkley to try and compete. I’m definitely ok with holding Barkley, just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts.

It helps you this year with MT coming back. With such shallow starting requirements you can afford to lose Barkley. So who do you want long term?

Barkley. I get the idea of wanting to make a trade if you are in win now mode, but MT may not be the win now piece you think. High ankle sprains are notoriously nagging. Will MT be back this year? of course, but he will also be off coming back. Also I think you really need a RB to replace Barkley. I'd hold out for better.

I agree that I do need to move Barkley for a back if moved. Just wanted to get thoughts on MT.

Thomas helps you win more this year obviously, but I think getting an RB back in a Barkley deal is a must.

Well lets build off that a bit. What RBs are available from the team that has MT?

Could you package one of your WRs and Barkley, for one of his RBs and MT? Would it make sense value wise? could you still compete?

He has nothing for backs and is playing for next year. Zach Moss is probably his best back.

probably not a bad trade for you no matter what, but considering Barkley is out for the year and Thomas will hopefully be back in 7 weeks I think he is the better win-now player.
Team 1 (superlex):
QB: Mahommes, Geno, Cousins, Ridder
RB: CMC, Javonte, Allgeier
WR: K. Allen, Metcalf, D. Smith, Ridley, Bateman, Burks, Wan'Dale
TE: Higbee

Team 2:
QB: Aaron Rodger, Watson
RB: Alvin Kamara, Zeke, D. Henderson, Mostert, Cohen, Jamaal Williams
WR: Metcalf, AJ Brown, Alen Robinson, Crowder, Lazard
TE: Mark Andrews, Trautman
