I have a young contending team in a 12 team, 1 QB, 0.5 ppr league. I think my weakness is at QB. I have Carson Wentz, Derek Carr, & Tyrod Taylor with Justin Herbert on my taxi squad.
I like Wentz, but don't know if he'll put up the stats I want for a contender. I am very deep at WR so moving Miller isn't that big of an issue for my lineup or depth.
Would you give Wentz, Anthony Miller & my first (likely late, 6-12) for Deshaun Watson?

The 1st seems unnecessary, but it could be worth it to move to Watson. It's a tough call for me because I think both have their struggles and both have their good weeks. I'd rather give another piece to get Mahomes/Lamar but that's easier said than done

If you can ride it out I would wait on making a move. Think about what Wentz had to work with. He was down several wr's, he was down 3 starting lineman and his starting rb. I'd wait until they get their team closer to full healthy before making any moves.

I voted for the Wentz side of the trade before reading your post.
I think the Wentz side has more value as I am not sure how much I love Watson this year without Hopkins.
That being said, I think Watson still has more upside than Wentz so if you are trying to win now I think Watson gives you the best shot.
Long term though I think you are giving up a lot of value for a small QB upgrade.

Interesting Stat from Sunday: Carson Wentz was chucking the ball down the field all game long, finishing with 520 intended air yards in the game, more than 100 more than any other QB this week. It didn't lead to big production, but it could have.
