I mean... Not crazy, but it's risky. Depends on the roster of course, but it's closer than the poll will allude to

It's definitely not crazy and this time next year, those 2 may be worth more than CMC, but I can't go against the best player in fantasy (non QB) right now. I think the hype on CEH is out of control and he is still risky, since he hasn't played a down yet.

Gurley isn't a good comparison because of injury. If Gurley doesn't have a degenerative knee injury he is still a top 5 dynasty RB. Also does a better QB make CMC worse? I liked CEH coming out of college but boy oh boy his situation is rocketshipping him up the charts. I'd kill to get CMC at this price.

I went CEH and Evans. I buy the CEH hype and think CMC will either get used less or hurt (don’t wish it, but going by history of players with such high volume).

See if you can get a pick on top. CMC is possibly the number 1 dynasty asset right now. You might get it.

CMC for me. CEH would have to prove RB1 value before I’m comfortable making the trade, and even then not sure I’d do it.

An unknown and a GREAT WR but who now has a questionable situation long term at QB. Give me the #1 dynasty asset whose value is at an all time high. Need something else significant added for em to consider.

Problem is, if CEH proves he's a RB1, then I don't think owners will be rushing out to add Evans to get CMC. This deal comes with the risk

CMC is a known value, CEH is not. Overall i think the value is on the CMC side in terms of startup value anyways.

I think this time next year you would want the package. I do believe CMAC loses touches. New coaching. New QB. I am also in the boat of trading at peak value for younger players I like. I would do this trade. I would then flip Evans though bc I think now is the time to sell him too. I did sell Evans this offseason for DJM and B. Edwards.

I meant we didn’t realize how bad his knees were and by the time we did it was too late to get out. We don’t know what kinds of wear and tear cmc has. But he is a smaller dude and is racking up the touches and collisions. I’m being kind of hypothetical but how long does he have before his body gives out? I like resetting with a rookie at some point. Maybe this isn’t enough though. Y’all make good points. I just can’t imagine you will do better. It seems like too much to ask for an MT or Hill or Adams with CEH. But maybe you could get that.

The issue that you have though is you are always playing for next year when you do that. I mean CMC just turned 24 so yes, he is older than CEH but when we start moving 24 year old RBs to get younger that feels like a dangerous game. Sure, maybe CMC takes a bad hit on his knee and starts to wear down or maybe he is LT and has a long productive career. Maybe CEH turns into the next Brian Westbrook or is the next David Wilson. If I’m trying to win ships the next few years I will take CMC, it I am rebuilding i would consider something with CEH but would want a WR like DJM (for example) with him.
