Dillon trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Dillon trade

Postby Jcedwards » Tue Sep 08, 2020 3:42 pm

Got an offer of AJ Dillon. It’s awful, so I obviously declined. But what would you trade Dillon for? I drafted him at 2.07 in our league.

His team:
QB- Rodgers, Teddy, Tua
RB- Sanders, Chubb, White, McCoy, Vaughn
WR- Adams, Lockett, Hollywood Brown, Crowder, Desean, Lazard
TE- Hurst, Herndon

Idk if anything can get done, because he’s high on pretty much all those guys, but who to try for?
12 team .5 PPR league. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX, 1 D/ST, 1 K, 13 BN, 1 IR

2019 and 2020 Champion

QB- Mahomes / Purdy
RB- Barkley / Pollard / Kamara / Brian Robinson / Dillon / Charbonnet / Dowdle
WR- ARSB / Amari Cooper / Ridley / Diontae Johnson / Michael Thomas / Doubs / Wicks
TE- Goedert / Waller
D/ST- Bills / Dolphins / Chiefs
K- Butker

Taxi- Levis / Roschon Johnson / Jameson Williams / Michael Wilson / Okonkwo

Picks- 2023: 1.02, 1.11, 2.10, 2.11, 3.11, 4.10, 4.11

I would hold and see what happens with Jones contract and/or Dillon comes out.

Kinda the way I was leaning, but I just didn’t know if there was something I should try.

Ask for Hollywood Brown straight up. If not, hold Dillon and let him make the offers.

What can you get him for besides a mid/late 2nd right now? If you can get him for any player with a late 1st price tag then that's an obvious sell otherwise just hold.

If you can get Marquise Brown that is an auto accept. I'm not sure any owner would actually do that though.

I wouldn't give Hollywood. But it seems like there are people out there that think he's worth a second round pick. Maybe that's just the people who don't own him.

Like everyone else here, I would keep. You’re only concerns are injury at RB and age at WR, but even those aren’t too concerning. His team either has players too expensive for Dillion or too cheap. If you do trade, get a good future pick in return.

I’d ask for Brown as others have said. Maybe add a 3rd on your side. If GB signs Aaron Jones to a 4- yr deal or something like that, Dillon’s value will plummet. If they let Jones walk, his value goes very high. It’s truly a gamble.
