Depends a bit on build for me, but the 1st+ is solid value in theory. Workload of Akers plays a big role too.

Akers and its not even close. He's got bellcow potential on a good offense at a dry position. The late 1st won't net you a starting RB like him and Irv Smith is irrelevant in a 10 man with a ton of other TE options.

I like Irv, and think he will be fantasy relevant in the future, but this is Akers easily.

I’d take Akers for his potential to be a bellcow. Granted I’m really high on Akers

I am on the Akers Side but wanted to make sure. I also have Henderson to handcuff Akers and I am pretty deep and young at TE currently with Kelce, Gronk, Ian Thomas, and Jonnu Smith. My other RB’s are CEH, Sanders, Singletary, Moss, and Hunt so I could use another RB I could count on.

Assuming that you drafted Akers with a 1st this year so why would you move him for a unknown 1st and a bench te? Easy pass for me.

I think Akers here since you have a decent TE group already....but not by a lot. A back end 1st next year will have the same ? Marks as Akers does right now. At least he has the upside of volume. Akers was my #5 RB this year, so I'm not high on him by any means.
