Hopkins + for 1.2++

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which package would you rather have for my team?

Hopkins + for 1.2++

Postby WP3 » Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:54 am

I received an offer for my Hopkins, Big Ben, and 3.4 for 1.2 (Taylor), 2.2, diontae Johnson, and Goff. I want to take the deal. It’s non ppr league so I like to start rbs in both flex spots for a total of 4 each week. My current 4th rb is Fournette so I’m looking to improve there. It still leaves me at WR with Evans and obj along with Diontae and 1.7. Would you make this move for a team looking for value but definitely trying to win now still?
12 team, non ppr, 1 Qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1 TE, 2 flex (rb/wr/te), 1 Def, 22 roster spots

QB: Wentz, Big Ben, Winston
RB: Zeke, Cook, Chubb, Fournette, Pollard, Mattison, Damien Harris, Armstead
WR: Hopkins, OBJ, Evans, MVS, JJAW, Trequan Smith, Reynolds
TE: Ertz, Herndon
Def: Steelers, Browns

2020 picks: 1.7, 3.4

Looks like a win now team, so I would hold your side.

I strongly prefer the Taylor side here from a value perspective...... BUT.... you are clearly in position to make a run and Hopkins fits in better with that plan. You would be too thin at WR if an injury happened. If you do take it, you should be able to flip 2.02 for a serviceable WR to backfill Hopkins like maybe someone unsexy in the range of Keenan, Boyd, Hilton, Landry,

My thoughts. Rbs dominant this league and the best teams run out 4. I accepted the deal. I have Johnson, 1.07, 2.2, and 2021 1st to make move to boost 3rd wr if needed as season progresses
