Where to rank Joe Mixon after extension

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Where to rank Joe Mixon after extension

Postby Indyfan1985 » Thu Sep 03, 2020 3:55 pm

Where would you ranking Mixon among other dynasty backs now that he is locked up for 5 years as the workhorse starter in Cincy, with an improving offense under Burrow?

I’m very high on him personally and view him as a consistent top 7 PPR RB over those 4-5 years.

Don't think the contract moves him up any really. Still has to prove it on the field first.
I'm in too many leagues to list them here

Has to prove what? That he is an effective workhorse? He’s already proven that.

Doesnt move him at all for me. He is just as talented and just as old now as he was before he signed his extension.

His ranking was already reflective of his situation mostly, top 10RB with top 5 upside. The extension is not a bad thing though, as I do think the Cinci offense is on the rise.

Mixon is top 7 for me at this point in time. I do put value in knowing that he will be the man in Cincy for the next few years, but I'm not moving him much from his current spot. Don't get too caught up in rankings though, they fluctuate so much from year to year, especially at the RB position.
