What to offer for pick 1.01?

I just realized I originally posted to the wrong category. Meant to post here.

Team is in signature. Must drop 6 before the draft. The plan is to likely drop the following:

Guice
Miller
Barber
Njoku
Roethlisberger
D. White

Any thoughts on drops?

I am looking to make an offer for the 1st pick overall to draft CEH. Looking at my roster, any thoughts on what it would take to get that pick? I have already tried Sutton and 1.12 as well as Sutton and Williams, but both offers were rejected.

Should I offer Julio straight up?

Any ideas would be appreciated

From my other post: The 1.01 will take a lot with all the hype at this point. Jones with his age will not be enough. Adams is probably the only way to get there, but it's too expensive in my opinion.

Thanks, I agree that Adams is too steep a price to,pay, I think even though my team is in desperate need of a RB.

Agreed, but it seems unlikely to get there based on what you have already offered and the pieces you could deal.

Julio definitely won’t be enough especially in 1/2 ppr. Could try something like Sutton+1.12.

Yeah, I think I will have to just sit tight to see what happens after the draft. Unfortunately, it would be a miracle if a really good RB was still available at the 1.08 pick and all I need is another WR!

Looking at your roster you do need rb help, but the price to pay to move up to the 1.1 is simply too high. I'd be looking to sell off your aging assets and look towards 2021.

You have a solid team, you don't need to get an top 3 RB from the draft to compete. Why not look for other guys if you are pushing to compete this year? LF, Mostert, A. Jones, MGIII, getting a couple of those guys would make you a competitive team and you can likely get two for cheaper than you can get 1.01.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It seems th consensus is the price for 1.01 is way too high right now given all the hype. I think I will attempt to trade for a couple of lesser RBs and, if I can make a couple of those deals, I will see how the season goes. If the team is not in contention, I will look to sell off some of my WRs for futures.

Try engaging the 1.2 owner. I would rather have Taylor than CEH, long-term.

If I had the pick, and Adams isn't part of the deal, I would want sutton and metcalf. I also could see the guy saying no to that. Sutton and the 1.12 wouldn't interest me either. CEH was a first round pick in the perfect situation for a RB. It will take an overpay. That being said. With your roster, I would not do it. I agree to go after JT or dobbins for a much cheaper price. Has he told you what it would take? Maybe he is not selling.
