Draft at 3.07... or grab a D?

Postby Avery » Mon Aug 31, 2020 3:57 pm

Team 2 below.

Traded my 1.07 and 1.08 for Kamara (#crossingfingers) and picked Moss at 2.07. My efforts to trade up have been in vain so I'm back on the clock at 3.07. Problem is we have a roster limit of 20 players (18 once you factor in a D and a K).

After my obvious cuts (Bonnafon and less so Cobb) I still have to cut another (amongst Njoku, Edmunds, and Miller) and now, if I draft someone else, I'd need to cut even more (meaning I'd have to cut two of Njoku, Edmunds and Miller).

So I have a two part question. Given my team:
1. Who would you draft here? (in the poll)
2. Who would your two cuts be? (if you would cut a second player over the rookie here at 3.07). If I don't cut someone else, I might as well grab my defense.

Thanks for the wisdom of the board!

Why cant you cut Graham and Njoku? I would try to trade Edmonds if you cant cut Graham.

Damn. Forgot I still had Graham listed. He's already cut so it would have to be two of Njoku, Edmunds and Miller.

Ya. Graham already cut (just updated my sig) and I've tried to trade any of them both singularly and in packages and thus far, no takers.

That's tough but understandable that the interest is not there. Edmonds and Njoku is probably the way to go out of your choices.

I would draft either Evans or any of the wrs listed - I prefer Cephus. Cuts, along with Cobb and Bonnafon, are Njoku and probably Edmunds. In this league format, I wouldn't carry more than 2 tes. So there is another cut/ trade option.

Heard on the TEs but we can start two and I have 3 or 4 that could all emerge so I'm trying to hold as many as I can to see who comes out for my starter. I would love to package them for a better one but other than the top few, I'm riding with this bunch.

Is D. Robinson Demarcus? If so, he's an easy cut for me.

I still have hope long-term for Njoku, but would definitely understand cutting him.

I definitely wouldn't cut Edmonds. He's valuable IMO and if you draft Benjamin, you'll have a lot of real estate in an up and coming backfield.

I also don't agree with cutting Edmonds. The pick should be Evans or Duvernay if you make it. Edmonds could very well end the season as the starter in arizona. If you have demarcus robinson still he's the easy cut for me with njoku.

You could also try packaging 2 of PWill, Diontae, Hollywood, Miller and Slayton for a higher priced more proven WR.

I picked McFarland as that PIT backfield seems as up for grabs as any.

Would cut Njoku, Bonnafon, Cobb right before Edmonds, Robinson or Herndon
