Cook or JT?

So for team 2 in sig I have an offer sitting in my inbox:

Send JT
Get Cook

I've reached out to the mattison owner to see what it would take to get mattison but haven't heard anything yet.

The reason I'm hesitant to make this trade is because of cooks prior ACL injury and uncertainty of team next year. I realize that according to current ADP/value this is Cook side.

Is there a reason I shouldn't make this deal? Should I only make this deal if I can also get mattison for a reasonable price?

Value wise it’s a win. Looking into the future I think there’s more than a 50% chance that JT overtakes cook in just a year or 2. Me I’d probably hold but most people would probably say take it. You could always accept and flip cook to

It all comes down to the Cook owner if he is competing or not. If he is why would he trade for a rb who isn't even the starter now? I could see if Cook were older he may be more open to making the move, but Cook isn't that old so if he's competing I'm guessing he would want something added on top of JT to make the move.

Cook owner is rebuilding kind of. But like I said, this offer is in my inbox as in cook owner already sent it. I'm hesitant because of cooks prior ACL injury and his future team uncertainty. I'm not worried about him pulling the offer because I'm fine moving forward with JT. Just trying to gather other opinions.

If I can get mattison cheaply I'll probably pull the trigger on the cook trade

you have to hate this Yannick trade for Cook's future with the Vikings. Then you factor in injuries. Cook is too risky for me. Im holding JT here every time.

Cook is the safer win now piece in theory. I moved him this offseason because he just cant stay healthy and disappeared a bit down the stretch. Taylor is an unknown but value wise they are somewhat close already. I still think Cook is the better win now piece, but like Taylor long term.

I’m a perennial contender each year and I dealt Cook, my 2021 1st, and 2022 2nd for JT, a likely top 5 pick in 2021, and a 2022 1st. Just to show what you could possibly aim for.

I misread this the first time as JT will be a top 5 pick in 2021, and was surprised that as a contender you gave cook+ for JT. Given that Ive since reread it and am no longer an idiot. If your a JT beleiver this is good value.
