This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Chase Claypool Question

Postby esulek80 » Fri Aug 21, 2020 3:02 pm

Does having Juju and Diontae Johnson increase the value and importance of getting Claypool?

It sounds like there is at least a chance Juju is not back with the Steelers next season and Johnson though having a very good season last year is still a question mark if he can continue to produce at such a level or even improve upon it.

I managed to snag Claypool with the 4.01 pick today and am not sure if I'm overhyping my excitement of getting him and possibly overvaluing him because of the Steelers history of producing good WRs. I managed to get Juju in the 4th rd of my 2017 draft and maybe I'm too caught up in that experience?

I dont think there is any importance to get Claypool necessarily. Even if JuJu is not back, who knows who else comes in or where the depth chart lands in the future.

I agree with this, but Claypool In the 4th is still a sweet dart throw

Agree with a good dart throw. I got him with the 3.08 in one draft, but in my other three drafts so far he went 2.09, 3.01 and 3.03.

I'm hoping he supplants Washington as #3 in Pitt and willing to give him this season to show what he has to give.

Agree with both of juju leaves they might bring someone in or it might be Washington, Johnson, Ebron?, Etc. Doesn't change the fact that it's great value tho
