Njoku vs Jarwin

What would you say is the gap between the two?

Thinking of pursuing Jarwin, but unsure of what what need to be added to either side. I don’t mind having Njoku and seeing how everything plays out in CLE, but all my TEs have a week 9 bye, so I’m trying to be out in front of it.

The road looks real rocky for Njoku whereas Jarwin is a starter. Njoku has more name value, but that's all.

I want to say that Jarwin was picked in our draft like 5th round (when only a few teams had picks because of open roster spots). And at that time, Jarwin may have been auto drafted, because I believe the owner checked out after the 1st couple rounds. Hoping he doesn’t fully know about Jarwin being a “breakout” candidate and is willing to trade him. This guy doesn’t check much, so he probably doesn’t know much.

I like Jarwin more. His ceiling isn’t going to be high with so many mouths to feed in Big D, but his floor is high. He should be very consistent with the occasional huge week.

What do you think it will take to go from Njoku to Jarwin?

A 2nd? 3rd? Or what type of player (listed in my sig)

I wouldn't add anything to Njoku. Personally I'd keep him anyway but to each their own.

I still view them as even long term. Jarwin has more value right now, but as an Njoku owner, I could not move him for Jarwin.

It's not that I'm dying to move Njoku for Jarwin. Its just have this dilemma with my TEs (all 3 have a bye the same week), so I'm trying to see who I can get that I won't have to pay much for. Obviously, I'm not getting rid of Ertz or Goedert (unless someone offers me another top TE), so just looking at moving Njoku. We can only have 3 TEs on our active roster, so unless someone gets injured/has COVID, I will be in trouble at TE. I know that I have a while until that actually becomes a problem, so maybe its best just to hold onto Njoku and see what happens. Its a weird year anyway, so one of them very likely could have COVID around that time, be injured, or the season may be scrapped at some point.

I cross this bridge every year by just waiting. I'd much rather wait until the week before and just pick up a one week waiver add. At TE you can usually get 5-8 points.
