Your RB depth is fine. But even if it wasn't, I'd say take Hock & figure the depth out later

This is exactly what was giving me pause. In my 10-team league you need studs to compete and starter-quality RB depth is extremely scarce. Basically, I wanted to see if there are a lot of RoJo believers out there.

I will represent the minority here and go with the RoJo side. The kid is 23, and still growing into the position. In most of the leagues I am in lead running backs are hard to find and no one wants to give them up. Tight ends on the other hand are easier to get, more so in a non TE premium league.

There are not many TEs that produce consistent numbers and TEs take longer to develop than any other fantasy position.

Also, the guy that I would be trading with is my primary competition with an RB2 being his only glaring weakness. He only has the 2.08 in this draft.

RB: Christian McCaffrey
RB: *HOLE*
WR: Michael Thomas
WR: Davante Adams
TE: Noah Fant
Flex: Odell Beckham Jr.

Unless you are getting one of the TEs, there is very little separating the rest of the TEs from one another. At this point, I don't see much difference in Herndon and Hockenson, well except for the suspension. When Herndon was playing he put up good numbers. Just don't forget about him. Perhaps consider targeting a guy like Adam Truatman in the draft.

I am not saying that Rojo is going to put up amazing numbers, but as a Rojo owner, I am currently holding him.

I'm about as low on RoJo as anyone, and I would DEFINITELY hold RoJo here.

1) This is not cashing in on the hype.
2) Unless Hock becomes a Tier 1 TE, then he is fully replaceable. Are you really that confident that he will be (I'm not).

I imagine that Hock will have more fantasy relevance for longer than RoJo, but I don't think that he'll have fantasy relevance much better than a middle-of-the-road (i.e., replaceable) TE. RoJo's window could be very short, but his ceiling is much higher and, in all likelihood, his trade value is MUCH stronger in the short-term.

Bottom line: Yes, feel free to move RoJo now to capitalize on the hype. But this doesn't do it.
