Herbert vs Pittman in 1QB turning SF in 2021

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which player in a league that won’t be SF until 2021?

Herbert

Pittman

Herbert vs Pittman in 1QB turning SF in 2021

Postby Slackalacker » Tue Aug 04, 2020 1:34 pm

Team 1 in sig, we are 1QB this year turning SF in 2021, 6pt passing TDs

We have a late draft in this league happening Subday. I have picks 2.1/2.2/2.3 and am expecting to have my choice from something like Jefferson/Reagor/Pittman/Herbert.

My question is, assuming Herbert is there, would you take him over Pittman in preparation for our move to SF in 2021?

No. Herbert's trash

I'd take all those WRs over him even with the move to SF and wait to draft Love a round later or Hurts 2 rounds later--especially in 10 team

Depends on the number of teams, but yeah Herbert is good value at the beginning of the 2nd round in SF, especially with 6pt per TD. Not an awesome QB prospect, but QBs are hard to acquire in 12tm+ SF.

That’s part of what makes it hard. Since it’s not SF this year I think I can get hurts or love at 3.1, I have two solid QBs but I know I want at least one more. Herbert has been polarizing so I’m not sure I want to risk taking him even with his draft capital

Pittman in 10 team, Herbert in a 12 team. I don't like Herbert, but he will hold value in a 12 teamer.

That’s the 1.11, 1.12, and 2.01 in a 12-team. I’d stay flexible, as there is quite a bit of talent in this draft in that area. I don’t know that Herbert will be worth nabbing over that tier of WR.
