This is very, very close IMO. I have both on one team, and like the about the same. I just did read an article here on DLF about Jonnu being a breakout. MFL has them projected (1 ppr league) pretty close, too: Thomas at #17 TE with 136 (8.5 avg), and Smith at #21 TE with 122 (7.6 avg). I like them both more than that. I think they could both be closer to top ten, with a 10 point average, which would put then in the top SIX. Ten points is only 5 catches for 50 yards. Or 2 for 20 and a td. I like both Tannehill in TEN and Teddy in CAR. I lean Jonnu.

Easily Jonnu for me. He is a better athlete and route runner. He was highly ranked in efficiency and broken tackles and has a much higher ceiling IMO.

Jonnu has basically been the starter for the last 2 seasons in TN as Delanie only started 5 total games the last 2 years due to injuries and in that time of being the man he has 55 receptions for 700 yards and 6 TDs over that time. The thing is it feels like every one of his TD's is a highlight reel play so we keep waiting for the breakout.
I just don't see the high ceiling for Jonnu and I'd rather roll the dice on the unknown in Thomas and that Carolina offense. We all know what the Tennessee passing game is going to look like and I don't really feel like investing much there.
