Adams is the safer play for me. Godwin's value is extremely high right now, so maybe a 2nd added to his side?

Godwin is a great piece, but there’s a lot of target competition in TB. I actually think Brady being there hurts Godwin to an extent (despite the fact that he would seem to benefit most by being more of an intermediate threat vs deep ball guy) because I don’t see Brady chucking it deep to Evans like Winston did, but rather, every pass catcher now becomes an intermediate threat due to Brady’s limitations. I’m taking Adams easily here, it would take a 1st on top of Godwin for me to move Adams.

Adams and Godwin are even for me. I think the slight tie breaker is the fact that Godwin is three years younger. Adams will be 28 by the end of the year.

As a Godwin owner, I don't think I'd trade him straight up for Adams, let alone add anything to my side.

As an Adams owner, I don't know that I would add anything either.

So if I have to pick one, I'm taking Godwin due to age.

I think a straight up trade is fair, but whichever owner is the one coming to the other, will be the one that will need to add something to their side.

Godwin pretty easily for me. He's much younger, and was the better producer last year. He's still got his prime years as a WR ahead of him. A-Rod already has one foot out the door in GB, so I don't see a QB advantage long term for Adams.

I'd give it to Godwin because of age. Here is a fun fact for everyone, Adams only has one season where he finished over 1,000 yards.
Team 1: 12 team, PPR
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex

Mahomes, Lawrence
Najee, Swift, Javonte, Jamaal W, Murray
DK, DJM, Juju, Jameson, Gallup, Van
Pitts, Friermuth
1.01, 1.04, 1.11, 1.12, 3.10, 2 firsts next year

Team 2: 12 Team, SF TEP (1.5 PPR)
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex, 1 SF

Mahomes, Burrow, Cousins, Rudolph
CEH, Swift, Gibson, Jacobs, Mattison, Scott, McFarland
DK, AJB, Ridley, McLaurin, Kupp, Landry, Mims, Hamler, Miller, Johnson, Robinson
Andrews, H. Henry, Sternberger, Alie-Cox, Herndon

Same as Team 2
Watson, Burrow, Lance, Z. Wilson
Pollard, Mattison
Chase, D. Smith, Boyd, Hardman, E. Moore, Cephus, A. Rodgers, Harry, Boykin, A. Tate, Miller
Hockenson, Thomas, Albert O, Njoku
3 additional firsts

Same as Team 2
TLaw, Burrow, Watson, Darnold
CEH, Gus, Cohen
Juju, Chark, Shenault, Boyd, Landry, Renfrow, Robinson,

Godwin’s arrow is pointing up, Adams arrow is flat or pointing down. In a seasonal league is probably a 1:1 trade. In dynasty you’d need to add something to Adams side due to age difference (depending on other team needs). Maybe a 2nd, TE, etc

As a Godwin owner I wouldn’t add to get Adams and probably wouldn’t do it straight up.

I would rather have Adams for the next three years, so I lean that side. He has no competition and a QB that only throws to targets he trusts, where ihe is the only one. Godwin is going from an ideal QB situation for fantasy stats to a guy my age at QB

Wow, this forum is as torn as I am. The current offer is Godwin and a 3rd (2021) for Adams. I am competitive, but getting 3 years younger is very appealing. Still debating what to do.

I easily want godwin here. I think the perceived value may be slightly on the Adams side, but my personal value is firmly on the godwin side.

I'd take Godwin by a good amount. He would've been arguably the best WR in the league last year if he stayed healthy & I still don't think we've seen his ceiling yet.
The primary benefactor for Godwin here is age as I think they'll be pretty close for the next 2-3 years. Adams is FAR more situation dependent as he needed 169 targets to do what Godwin did last year on 120 targets, give or take a handful of touchdowns which at 13 were obviously due to regress.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but Adams sitiation if anything got better and Godwin's pretty clearly got worse in my mind. They are both studs and it is splitting hairs, but I just see a higher chance of target regression for Godwin. Plus that Gronk guy should do well in the redzone.

Adams is a TD machine while Godwin is a PPR machine coming (and who can score too)

Godwin for me
