Ruggs or Pittman

Postby yellowdart2448 » Sat Jul 25, 2020 6:38 am

Just curious who everyone likes more between Ruggs and Pittman. I have a decision to make at the 2.07. I already have Adams Godwin Boyd Deebo. Thanks!

I'm going Pittman. He may not produce early, but I think he will be a more complete wr and he can learn from AJG and Boyd. He has a young promising qb that he can grow with that isn't going anywhere. Ruggs to me is a new DJax. He relies on his deep speed, but can he turn into a complete wr??

Ruggs.
2nd round is time to swing. Ruggs has ridiculous world-class speed as evidenced by his 40 & 10 yd split. His refinement as a receiver is somewhat underrated and he is the perfect fit in the modern NFL as a swiss army knife.
Pittman would be the safer pick but I don't see much of an opportunity in the near future. Rivers probably won't be pushing the ball outside the numbers often to the potential #2/3 WR on his team when they want to run it 40 times a game. If he can even push it outside the numbers is a different question in itself. I don't see it aligning for Pittman in year 1 and don't think they'll be bad enough to draft a competent QB post-Rivers.... so it would go back to Brissett.
Especially in a 10 teamer, you swing for the fences here.

You must be thinking of Higgins and not Pittman.

Ruggs for me. Nice win at that draft slot regardless.

Grab Ruggs and celebrate. See if you can get back in for Pittman at this point too.
