OBJ and Kirk for 3 1sts?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Postby mwlviper » Thu Jul 23, 2020 9:28 pm

16 team league, For team 2 in sig.

OBJ and Kirk for 3 2021 1sts? 1 early, 1 mid, 1 late

If I do this move I would be punting for this 1st year in the startup, which I dont see myself winning anyway.

I would take it personally but it's close

If yes then I'd look to sell Kamara, Ertz and Rodgers as well

My bad, thanks for the heads up. In a 16 team/ 1 QB league, I think I would hold then. Beckham and Kirk can both produce and that is huge in the format.

Thanks. That's his current offer, but its a little too much for me. What would you counter it with? OBJ + ?. He asked for Reagor but thats too much for me, especially as an Eagles fan. Ive tried OBJ + Shenault and OBJ + 2021 2nd, but he wouldn't do either.

Sounds like the other owner is stuck on Kirk based on what else you offered. Might be tough to find a deal. I'm surprised Shenault did not move the needle, some are super high on him. The other owner must want Beckham pretty badly too.

If you can pull just the 2 earlier firsts and maybe a second or third for OBJ I might consider that, excluding kirk and the late first. If OBJ doesn't bounce back with a big season this year, his value is going to plummet most likely.

Well it depends on what you think your team can do this season. What are the starting requirements? If you can compete then I"m passing on this deal. If your borderline then I'm thinking I'm pulling the trigger. It lands you 3 extra 1st rd picks for 2021. I'd then be looking to deal Ertz to a te needy team. I'd even be open to moving ARob and ARog, go with youth and add as many picks and young high end players as you can.

I'm not opposed to punting on year 1 of a league as it's usually the easiest time to go to the bottom and accumulate value due to the fact that everyone always thinks their team can win right away. However, in a 16 team league you'd probably be fortunate to get guys like Odell and a Kirk with your 3 swings in the draft. If one or two of those firsts ends up being late it would be tough to build around those assets going forward.

I am personally not trading anything of value for 2021 picks until I know what the heck is going on with the college football season
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts
