Which side would you rather have if you were a contender? Team in question already has Mark Andrews at TE for ref.

A) Mark Ingram, 3rd, and a Josh Gordon throw in
or
B) Preston Williams and Hayden Hurst

Depends on team needs, but if I'm competing, I'd want Ingram here. If this is for your team in sig, I don't think your team is a contender.

So value wise, this is Hurst and Williams for me, and I'd take that side for your team.

Yah I agree that the Ingram side is best for a contender, while a rebuilder should take a chance on Hurst/Preston.

This question was more of a settle a debate type for valuation. I offered this to a contender and they thought I was crazy for valuing Ingram so highly...but I felt like it’s fair value for a contender.

Shorted offseason will help Ingram retain number 1 duties. NTM, in ppg, Ingram was RB 7, Preston was WR 47 and Hurst was TE 51...I get the age thing, but Ingram has tons of tread on his tires and was great with Kamara, so it’s not like he needs a ton of work to be relevant. Anyways, end of rant lol. Thanks for the response.

Ah, gotcha.

Yeah, value wise this is Hurst/Willaims for me for sure. But if I'm contending and I needed RB help, I'd be willing to move Hurst and Williams for Ingram. I'd probably look at getting a couple of other RB's for cheaper first though. I guess this depends on what his RB situation looks like, and if Hurst would be starting for him.

As mentioned, the Hurst side is definitely the better value. RB depth plays a big factor for me too.

To answer you and gator, he’s got Andrews, Hurst, and Doyle at TE. At RB he has Conner, Fournette, Lindsay, and Samuel.

Seems like a fair offer to me then.

This is the Hurst/Preston side for me regardless of contender status. It is a crowded backfield and they just drafted Dobbins. I'd hit reject without a counter.
