Deebo for Marquise Brown+

I'm a mid-tier team looking to be competitive in 2021 (see sig for league/team details). What pick(s) would it take on top of Marquise Brown for you move Deebo Samuel? Would a 2022 2nd enough?

Give: Deebo Samuel
Get: Marquise Brown+pick

Both of these players have injury concerns and play in low-volume passing offenses. Deebo likely has the better PRR floor as the Z-receiver in SF, but Marquise may have an even higher ceiling after an injury-plagued rookie season. Brown's small frame does make me a little concerned, but I'm not sure I see these two players being all the far apart.

What would the pick be? Is he offering the deal or are you? If he is simply tell him your really high on Deebo and not really high on Brown because of his size, injuries, etc, and tell him your not only open to doing this if a 1st rd pick is involved.

I would need a first for sure. Not a big Brown fan and Deebo looked really good. But if you are competing, keep Deebo.

Depends on the pick being added, but I think Samuel is the safer and certainly more valuable asset of the two.

Honestly.. I wouldn’t mind moving Deebo for Brown if you could get a better pick..

A lot of upside that’s hard to ignore with Brown.. he’s 100% healthy now.. bigger and stronger and has a huge connection with his QB that should only be getting better..

SF has a bunch of dudes coming in this season including a first round pick..
they had to get creative to get Deebo the ball last season and now with Aiyuk, Taylor, Hurd and McKinnon coming into the picture I’m worried a tad bit about consistent production.
I like the talent of Deebo just not the system for him.

X2 here. SF has a run first offense and the amount of mouths to feed there are worrisome to me. I'd take the Brown pick side here. Try to get the first and don't look back. I'd settle for a second if it came to that and it has a chance to be a top 6 pick.

Wouldn't look to add a redundant asset to your WR group given that you already have Ross, Fuller, & even Chark to some extent.
Deebo's floor is a good safety net if all of your boom/bust WRs happen to bust this season. Even for week to week volatility.

MB went 94 , Deebo 119 in my last startup that is just about to end , MB is getting a lot of hype right now and Deebos injury is a worry

I prefer Brown to Deebo for sure. I definitely wouldn't be adding adding anything to Brown for Deebo. Take whatever you can get.
