12 team standard league
I was offered, Jones for my 1.11 and my 2.11. My trade partner is trying to sell high on an older Jones. I already traded my 3rd for this year. so would you give up this year's picks for Jones? I'm weaker at RB. Here are the notables of my team. Any input is appreciated.

Only if you feel you are a legit contender. Jones is well worth that in skill, but his value is fading quickly. Again, well worth it for a title but not if he does not put you over the top.

I took the deal. I went to the ship last year but lost due to D. Watson not showing up. I think Jones has a couple more top 5 finishes in him.

Re: Julio Jones for 1.11 & 2.11
Your team isn’t a contender and by the time it is jones will be in the downside of his career. Keep the picks and make them count. Only you know if you’re a good drafter or not. If you aren’t start studying up so you can build your team by picking good players when you’re on the clock otherwise just trade the picks for Julio and try to trade him to a contender during the stretch run
Qb: Hurts, geno Smith
Rb: JT, Gibbs, Montgomery, Roschon, Z. White, Ty Chandler
Wr: AJB, JJ, Chase, waddle, G Wilson
TE: Pitts, Kincaid, Likely, Njoku
2024 1.01, 1.04, 1.05
10 team
9 players kept yearly
Non PPR
Not super flex
Start 1/1/2/1/2 flex
1 point per first down
All tds 6 points

You didn't mention DeSean Watson in your original post. If it is a 1qb league, then roll the dice and hope. People often advacate tears downs, that's throwing away money. Do the trade and if your Rbs don't pan out, sell your vets mid season, no point tearing down now

Re: Julio Jones for 1.11 & 2.11
Definitely go for it. Sure, you might not be a lock for the ship but too many try to wait for the perfect roster before going after it. You already have Bell, Ingram, Tate, Green that are older anyway. 1.11 being so late, I would go for it. At the very least, it should be an interesting ride into the playoffs.

I agree with that, Jones won't be worth much soonGator Sens wrote: ↑Sun Jul 12, 2020 11:04 pm Only if you feel you are a legit contender. Jones is well worth that in skill, but his value is fading quickly. Again, well worth it for a title but not if he does not put you over the top.

Jones hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, he has another 3-4 years of elite production. This is crazy

Re: Julio Jones for 1.11 & 2.11
As others have said, Julio is a great fit for a competitive team. But at this price I think I’d acquire him regardless of situation. You could probably move him for more than this in season if you aren’t in the playoff race.
