I would guess AP doesn't go away but yes--Guice should be the starter on a run heavy team with definite upside (though the offense isn't gonna be anything special) but the risk being that he is done as a starter if he gets hurt again.

I would put his value at an early 2nd in terms of rookie picks

An early 2nd seems fair based on all the health issues he has had and a crowded backfield, but I would not sell for that. If healthy, he should be a very solid option/asset moving forward. Big if obviously.

Sounds good thanks , I just took him at 136 in my startup , I didn't know if that was a little early or later than he should have went.

Early-mid 2nd value. He should start but AP and Gibson will get work, plus it’s a bad team and obvious injury concerns

I expect they ease him into it, so AP should start out the season, and should get most of the goal line work, but I expect Guice to slowly take over the majority of the carries as the season goes on and he gets up to speed.

Will he start over AP? yes.
What value does he have, probably early to mid 2nd, depending on who currently owns him someone who drafted him high in rookie draft may not be as willing to part with him at this point for an mid-early 2021 second (though maybe for a mid to early 2020 second). I'm holding him as my RB 3/4 in my one league I have him (team #1 in signature) drafted him at the 1.02 his rookie year so at this point i'm willing to try to give it a go this year. If he is mediocre, failing htis year, I'll probably sell him for whatever I can get

Guice is a lottery ticket. What you would pay for it depends what the % chance you think you have of winning and what the prize is if you win.
Me...I think it all depends on him being healthy enough for long enough to showcase his abilities. I think for him to do that he needs to have 8 games as the "starter". I say 65% chance of him doing that. And if he does that then I think his range is elite RB1 to borderline RB1/2.
Sooo.... basically no one is willing to pay what I think he worth.

he's not a rookie nor injured, that'd be a very Redskin-y thing to do

He's been injured for most of the past two years. He didn't play a single snap as a rookie, and then he only carried the ball 42 times last year. In two years in the NFL, he's touched the ball less than 50 times. He's played in 5 out of a possible 32 games.

I like Guice and expect him to have a big year, but starting him out game one with 20+ touches isn't something that any team would do, especially since the pre season has been shortened already to only two games.

I drafted Guice with the 1.02 and have been disappointed everyday since the 2018 draft. I love the film but Guice fell in the draft (that should have been a red flag), owes $500k to his former agent (current lawsuit), and seems to be obsessed with video games (per twitter). Aside from injuries he has off-field issues too. He does seem to be a genuinely great guy and very charismatic but he may be a little immature. I think he does work extremely hard and has a positive/great work ethic. Stephania Bell the doctor from ESPN has very little optimism for Guice’s injury forecast.

Having said all of that, I am trying my best to include Guice with a WR as part of a package deal to get a stud. I have been turned down by two league mates already who value Guice very low. It seems he may be a hold until he can regain some value but I am pessimistic on his future.

I would just copy and paste the first part of this post and send it to whoever has Guice. Then I would try to by him. If someone wants to devalue him for a lawsuit and video games then I will take that discount. Clearly he is dedicated to working out and being in shape, just look at him and his workout videos. This is just a question of health for me.

Lawsuit is bizarre, but I agree that my only real qualm with Guice is his health. He's clearly very talented. If I could buy him at a good price (aka 2nd round value that some have mentioned) I'd be all about taking that gamble. Definitely wouldn't sell him for that if I owned him though

His injury history is something to be cautious of but the MCL strain that put him on IR at the end of last year should be tossed out. It was an admin move on a lost season. They didn't want to risk further injury and putting him on IR let them keep another active player. The fact they didn't make any big deals at RB reinforces they are optimistic as well. At his current discount I buy him everywhere, well worth the risk. I mean that is our game isn't it, every player is worth it if the price is low enough.
