1.03 for McLaurin, Mack, and 2.01

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.03 for McLaurin, Mack, and 2.01

Postby Nazachi » Sat Jun 27, 2020 3:45 am

10 team league
2QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, K, D
1/2 ppr, 5QB cap, but we can place 1 additional QB on a practice squad for 1 year (which can’t be activated) so 6QBs potentially.

QB - Aaron Rodgers , Baker mayfield, Phillip Rivers, Jarret Stidham, Kirk Cousins

RB - Joe Mixon, Marlon Mack, James White, David Montgomery, Ronald Jones, Mike Boone

WR - Michael Thomas, Chris Godwin, DJ Moore, Terry McLaurin, James Washington, Nkeal Harry

TE - Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, Greg Olsen, Ian Thomas

I was runner up in last years championship and could’ve won had I started the right guys and not lost Godwin , Ertz, and DJ Moore for week 16.

This year I have 2 draft picks. 2.01 & 3.09. I want to beef up my RB situation and take CEH.

Trade proposal

1.03, for

Terry McLaurin
Marlon Mack or Ronald Jones
2.01

Should I do it?

I’d do it. Doubt you’ll get CEH there but you’ll get a good RB.

Absolutely. I would prefer to send Mack. But either way it's a hell of a deal for one of the top RBs.

No thanks, but I think McLauren is a legit WR1 type of talent. I think adding Mack and the 2.01 is an overpay. If I wanted to beef up running back, I would target later picks and stock up with Moss, Dillon, Gibson, Vaughn.

Then again my one super team has been burned with Zeke, Barkley, Johnson and Gurley either being suspended, injured, or having a short productivity window or looking at early retirement. I have pivoted on RB's and now favor have a good one and backing him up with as many back end 1s, high end 2's like the guys mentions above as I can get my hands on without having to give up big time players on the front end.
Team 1: 16 Team
QB's: Fields, Wentz,
RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman

QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Watson
RB: Hall, Walker, Javonte, Pacheco, K Mitchell, Dobbins

TE: Andrews, Fant, Likely
(2024) 1.03, 2.03, 3.03

The value is there, but I think McLaurin is a solid long term asset. I would hold but again, the value is there.

@bigspank and @Gater- I agree with you guys. McLaurin alone is worth a top 5 picks in this years rookie class. He had the second highest PFF grade for a rookie since OBJ in 2014 and no6 PFF grade for all WR in 2019. I don’t understand why DLF ranks him as a back end 1st rounder this year on trade analyzer feel like he should be ranked around the same as AJ Brown.

Well assuming CEH and Taylor are gone, but with a 2qb leauge Burrow may go. I may even have another trade lined up, deal a qb and look to add one of the top ones. What are your expectations for the first two picks?

In a ten teamer, it may still go RB over Tua. I would, unless my QB situation was bad. 2 QB, but a ten teamer, makes it a bit less valuable than a 12 teamer.

I would drop the 2.01 and give him both Mack and Jones.

I'm a big McLaurin fan, but at first look i think this is a good deal as you need the RB help. However, it really leaves you thin at WR4 if something were to happen to your top 3? At first glance, i figured you'd get a good WR at 2.01, then i saw it was part of the offer. Ugh, i think i would hold and hope one of Monty/RoJo comes through and is a startable asset.
