Team 3

Did a crazy trade last night where I was able to acquire LJacks and Kittle. No team is top heavy so everyone fancies themself a contender. I really want to go purchase some RB help because I think MT, Kittle, Jackson, and Landry are all win-now pieces but then I have JT, Guice, Vaughn which is definitely sketchy.

What should I do next?

I don’t know that I would say those pieces are necessarily win now type pieces. Kittle and Jackson certainly are not. You are weakest at RB2. And I don’t love your last couple of flex spots. I’d hold for now though seeing as how it’s a startup. See how you do, if you can contend, and if you need another piece or two to put you over the top, use your 2021 firsts.

Thanks Foosball, little unsure why L Jacks and Kittle wouldn't be considered win-now pieces though? I'd argue they are the best win-now pieces at their position whereas long term I'd take Mahomes or Andrews if I was rebuilding

With your roster and collection of draft picks from 2021 and 2022 it appears to me that your geared up to contend in 2022/23 and beyond. So I'm looking to build everything towards that time. I'm defiantly looking to move Tate and Landry if they start out hot early in the year. Guice with his injury issues would be the same boat. The big fish is MT, he will be 30 in 2023, so I'm putting him on the blocks and selling him off for the biggest haul possible, picks and youth. I'd even look to move LJax if possible and land another qb in the next year or so. Having 6 first round picks in the next two years, plus whatever you can acquire for other players you can truly build a dynasty from 2022/23 and beyond.

A “Win now” piece means that the player is getting older so you need to “win now” before they lose their value and/or begin to decline.

As you mentioned, RB depth would be big for your chances this year.

I personally dont think Harry is going to be startable this year, even if he makes strides I doubt it is close to consistent for starting. I think you need 2RBs or a RB/WR combo to have the consistent scoring you need to contend here.
