Startup TE Premium SF League

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I would build around young QBs and grab them early. Top tier TEs will go early but I would rather build around young QBs personally. Trading back is a fine way to go if you are looking to build young and gain future assets, but it all depends on who is available when you are looking to trade back.

Just finished one of these and the QBs are going to go. Having played in SF for a little now I can't stress enough how valuable a commodity QBs become. When they are falling always, always, take them. They hold value incredibly well and ppl will pay a premium. I would also punt TE until the Waller/Engram tier. You'll be passing up too much talent if you dont IMO.

DO NOT: like any draft, but esp. in a 12 man SF, leave WR till later after the Elite tier. Its such a deep position at the WR2/3 range that it would be stupid not to just take on as many RB/QB/TE etc. as you can early. The guys grabbing the Juju's of the world are doing so at substantial cost imo.

I agree with grabbing young QBs early and then I usually stock up on good young WRs and just target the lesser RBs like KJ for a 0 RB approach if I want a win later type team. If you get to a spot in the early rounds where the last of the good young QBs is gone, don't be afraid to start trading back to either pick up future 1sts or to move yourself up in the middle rounds. I've done a couple of this type of league this year and if you don't get one of the top 3 TEs there's a long wait until #4 goes, so you should have plenty of time to stock up on WRs and RBs. Also when you get to the later rounds (like 14-15ish) you can start looking to swap those picks for 2021 2nds and you should get some takers.
