Buying McCaffrey

Team 1 in sig, owner with McCaff is selling and rebuilding so looking for young players/picks.

He’s expressed interest in Devante Parker as he’s weak at WR.

Would an offer of Parker + 1.04 + 2.01 be too much or too little for McCaff?

Way too little. Recent CMC deal, for some context. Drake, 1.05, 1.09, 2021 first (late) for CMC and 2022 2nd(mid) in a SF/TE premium. So those firsts in a 1 QB league would be more like 1.03 and 1.06.

He's worth close to 4 round 1's, you're offering 1 round one, a second and a late 2nd.

No one can possibly be serious about trading CMC right now. At least, not without a king's ransom in return.

No offense to you or Parker whatsoever, but that might as well be gold vs. trash, all picks considered.

I traded for him at the deadline last year to make my run. I gave up the 1.1/1.2/Guice/Penny/Woods for him. I actually tried to trade him back to the guy for the 1.1/1.2 and he said no. Point is, I think he is worth more during the year, so if you can get him for 1.1/1.3/Parker, fair deal. I wouldnt pay more. I want that draft capital to start adding WR youth.

1.01, 1.02 and 1.03 would, or should be a RB, though, especially in a ten teamer.
