Which trade for Miles Sanders?

Postby Londondynasty » Tue Jun 09, 2020 9:04 am

14 team league, team not in sig. 1qb. PPR

Start (for the purposes of this trade) - 2RB 2 RB/WR, 2WR, 1 WR/TE.

My RBs are currently CEH and Mostert. Only back ups of any note are R.Jones, Chris Thompson and maybe now Mike Boone.

My WRs are currently Hill, Adams, Cooper, Arob Chark, Mims, Higgins A.Miller. also got people like Sanu and Westbrook I can start in a pinch.

The gist of it is strong at WR, bleep at RB.

I am trying to trade for Miles Sanders

I have received 2 offers:

1. Arob + a 2021 2nd (hopefully late, but who knows) for Sanders
2. Amari cooper for Sanders

Leaning towards Arob and a 2nd at the moment.

Thoughts?

WR: Adams, Keenan Allen, Evans, Mooney, Juju, Corey Davis, G.Davis, Van Jefferson, Chark, Atwell

I’d take either deal, but agree that ARob + 2nd is the lower price.

I would definitely take either trade. I hate how inconsistent Cooper is but I agree that he is more valuable than ARob and a late second. So I would send ARob and a 2nd but I would also look to move Cooper too.

I'm in the same boat here, I own Cooper / ARob and trying to land a rb upgrade. One owner has Barkely, CMC and Sanders, he is open to moving Barkley and Sanders and really needs wr help. I've tried for Barkley, but Sanders will be much easier to acquire, I'm just torn on him be a legit rb1. If you can get him for ARob I'd do that.
For what it's worth, the trade analyzer on here has Cooper and a 21 2nd as pretty equal value in a trade, where ARob and a 2nd as needing to add more to the deal.

I'd do either, but Arob + 2nd would be my first choice. Sanders helps your build significantly - I am not high on mostert especially long term.

I’d ship Cooper for Sanders out of those two deals. I view Cooper and ARob as nearly equal, so I’d rather give up Cooper than add a 2nd to ARob. I also think ARob will score more this season, thanks to a more consolidated target distribution and less competition, so if you’re gunning for a title, Cooper is definitely the one to move. Either deal is good value for Sanders though.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

I would lean making the Robinson trade out of the two options.

ARob=Cooper to me.

Accidentally voted for Arob without seeing that it was what you were giving.

I would way rather give Cooper

Thanks for responses so far. What do people see as the difference between arob and cooper? More than a 2nd presumably?

Fairly comparable, but I prefer Cooper. If you came to me for an even swap a 2nd on top sounds about right. Cooper is a year younger with more upside - tied to a much higher passing volume offense and solid young QB. Arob is on the Chicago Bears with either Foles or Trubisky at the helm. Arobs only advantage is lack of target competition.

Not sure I agree that Cooper has more upside. ARob has the higher ceiling, at least based on what we’ve seen from both of them throughout their careers so far. I also think ARob could benefit from more negative game scripts leading to more garbage time scoring. I agree that Cooper is more valuable by the thinnest of margins, but I don’t even think the difference is a 2nd, which is why I’d prefer to move Cooper straight up rather than add to ARob.

ARob > Cooper for me....

I’d ship off cooper and ask for a 2nd back maybe but be happy to get Sanders for cooper.

In a 14 team league, and the fact it's 2 RB and 2 WR to start, with only 1 flex, RB's are more valuable, so I'd do either deal.
