Fant or Hockenson?

I own Hockenson and have the chance to trade him and a 5th to get Fant.

I like the Broncos offense much more than the Lions, but there is more competition for targets with the Broncos. I'm on the fence here and as I'm a Broncos fan, that might be clouding my judgement whether I should be instantly accepting!

Which side would you prefer?

I liked Hock more as a prospect and didn't really see anything their rookie years to change my evaluations much

Curious why you like the situation better for fant. I would argue hock has a much more stable qb situation since we have no idea what lock is yet, and he has much less competition for targets.

I like both here. Hock blew it up to start out his career and then had a few injuries the rest of the year. Fant seemed to take off when Lock took over, but they have since added more mouths to feed in Detroit. So if your a Fant fan then a 5th to get him is fine, I can see them both being pretty equal with stats.

Fant. I really like his role moving forward and I just prefer him.

I really like both but I’d lean Hock because of less competition for targets and QB... I think he could be a target monster if he gets it right. Stafford>>Lock

IMO Sutton and Jeudy should soak up all the targets leaving Fant Gordon Lindsay and KJ fighting for the rest.

I prefer Hock. They’re pretty close, and could both become elite with more years of development but nothing in year one has changed how I have them ranked. There’s just been more talk with Fant regarding the hype around Denver’s offensive weapons. You gotta be patient with TEs, allow them 2-3 years before you can make a clear judgement on their value. And u shouldn’t have to add to Hock to get Fant...

I prefer Hock because I think he's a better prospect and a single rookie year does not change that for me. Also, I like Stafford and the Lion's offense better for Hock going forward. I still think Hock has a future as a large target-share TE and Fant will be more of a boom/bust big-play TE who can't provide a reliable weekly floor in his situation.

I like Hock better in general. Plus, Denver added two WRs and and RB that can catch the ball as well. Lots of mouths to feed there. I prefer Stafford to lock as well. Hock also has the more prototypical TE build and skillset. He can in-line block better than Fant and should see more snaps because of it. I think he'll garner more targets in the long run due to having less competition for targets. He's 22y/o and looked like a monster at times last year. If you're patient I think he'll reward you more than Fant in the end.

Fant had one of the best rookie seasons by a tight end ever plus I think he’s gonna be easier to buy right now. Hock had one of the least efficient te seasons ever (don’t remember the article). I think hock might end up being the best over all tight end but that doesn’t really matter in fantasy

Hock is the better prospect straight up. Don't know why you would have to throw in a pick on top of that.
