JULIO TRADE OFFER

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

JULIO TRADE OFFER

Postby straightcashhomie831 » Mon Jun 01, 2020 2:47 pm

Im trying to make a trade right now. 12 team Super Flex.

i get: Carson Wentz, Julio

he gets: Daniel Jones, Justin Jefferson, Hayden Hurst

If i was a team competing then i'd jump on this trade...but i took over this team last year and his one of the worse. Right now im pretty decent at WR with : Golladay, Deebo Samuel, Darius Slayton, Jalen Reagor, Brandon Aiyuk, Quintez Cephus (Justin Jefferson). I have a young WR core. The MAIN reason i want JULIO is to trade for a young RB. No one in my league is trading for the young guys i have so i think i would have more luck trading a big name like JULIO to a contending team. SHould i do it? IF so what RBs would you target realistically?

MY RBs are: Hunt, Breida, Kerryon, Tevin Coleman, Devonta Freeman, Hyde, Lynn Bowden, Jason Huntley. Trash. Should i just ride it out until next years draft and hit RB hard or make the trade?

No, no, no. Don't do this. What young RB do you think Julio is going to bring you? Keep Jones and Jefferson, and look to move Hurst in season.

thanks for the reply...if a few more people say this then i will stay put. Just want to make sure i don't make a mistake. ALSO i'd be TRYING to move Julio for a younger RB. See if i can get a rookie like Akers or another young rb.

Hold your side based on your rebuild.

You don’t want to collect RBs over WRs and QBs in a rebuild. Trade for RBs when you are close to ready to compete. Keep what you have.

I see Wentz and Jones as a push personally. So this comes down to Julio v Jefferson/Hurst. Even if I'm rebuilding, Julio is worth more than that to me, by about 25%. So I would make the deal, but you have to be confident in your trading abilities.

Like others have said, RB is usually the position that is added last to a rebuild so I don't know that I'd target a young RB, but you should be able to get a better singular piece than Jefferson/Hurst by moving Julio instead of the former.

Even if you can't get a buyer for a bit, someone is going to pay up for Julio in season. Gimme the value with Julio pretty easily.

If you're set on trying to acquire a RB, maybe try and reach out to other owners who have the RBs you'd want to acquire and see what types of deals you'd be looking if you did acquire Julio.

You either have to get young RB's through the rookie draft or go after older ones like Fournette, MG3, Bell to get a good ROI.

I'm sure Julio is ahead of Akers in redraft rankings, but Akers consistently goes ahead of Julio in dynasty startups.

Julio is 2 rounds higher than Akers in consensus dynasty rankings. Your usage of "consistently" is blatantly false.
